Fly Fishing, Country Sports and Gourmet Food...
50 Years of Family Management - owned and run since 1961 by the Fox-Edwards family.
The past 50 years have been a period of warm welcomes and consistent high quality service to our guests. Whilst strong on traditional values and service, the hotel has never stood still and there have been a constant stream of improvements to the hotel.
The hotel is now run by Adam and Tina Fox-Edwards who have maintained the ethos of the hotel whilst continuing to develop it.
The Arundell Arms Hotel has been one of England's premier fishing hotels for more than half a century and has more than 20 miles of its own water on the Tamar and five of its tributaries.
The hotel prides itself for its warmth and comfort not only in the sitting room with its welcoming log fire, but in the bar with its buzz of talk about the events of the day and in the small thoughtful things such as the home-made chocolates placed in the sitting room for the guest after dinner and the bowls of fresh flowers everywhere.
Over a number of years the restaurant has established an international reputation for the best of English cooking using almost exclusively the superlative produce of the West Country.
