The Centre consists of three delightful rooms, sensitively created within an 18th Century listed building. originally built for John Taylor of the Tavistock Canal Compan. These light and airy spaces are available for hire.
Our on-site coffee shop and café can offer full catering services, including buffet lunches, sandwiches, tea, coffee and cakes which are all freshly made and sourced locally.

|The Charles Causley Festival||
The Charles Causley Festival is Launceston's Festival of Literature and the Arts and this year runs from the 1st to the 5th of June. We are supported using public funding by the Arts Council of England and many other local businesses.
The Charles Causley Centenary Festival’s programme for June 2017 is taking shape! In addition to the headline attraction event to open the main Festival weekend of 1st-5th June (The Fisherman’s Friends), here are some of the events we expect to feature this year:
MUSIC AND POETRY
The Edgcumbe tea-room on Cotehele Quay is open daily from 11am to 4pm. After a brisk walk enjoy a light lunch and a glass of wine or an afternoon cream tea. Your dog is also welcome.
|Tavistock Festival (t/a Tavistock Music & Arts Festival||
The company (not for profit) runs an annual Festival in the spring each year, as well as the Friends of the Festival organising a number of events to support our funds throughout the year.
The 15th Festival in 2017 again features concerts (of a wide range of musical genres), lectures, art exhibitions and workshops, literary workshops and events, theatrical and dramatic performances and an arts market in bedford Square, under the presidency of Andrew Wilson.
This year's festival starts on 18th April 2017 and events run on until 4th June 2017.

|The Wharf Arts Centre||
The Wharf is located between the River Tavy and Tavistock Canal. It was built in the 18th century as a busy industrial centre, and was converted to its present form by the local council in 1995. Since then it has been privately run as an arts centre offering live music, cinema, theatre and other events.There is also an Art Gallery, a popular Coffee Shop and a Licensed Bar with a uniquie waterside terrace.

|Cotehele (National Trust)||
Cotehele is a National Trust-owned Tudor house with extensive garden, orchards, estate, quay and working water mill. The garden and estate walks are open daily throughout the year. The house is open daily from April to the beginning of November. The mill is open every day from mid March to the end of October.
